Mike Beery
The MBMCF was created in honor of Michael Beery, a Jefferson County firefighter, who tragically lost his life on Mt. Rainier on June 10, 2005. Mike was a dedicated firefighter who served the community for five years, as well as a wonderful husband to his wife and father of their two children.
Mike’s love of helping others inspired him to befriend a young boy who was suffering through the last stages of Muscular Dystrophy. To honor him, Mike organized a procession of fire trucks, aid units and law enforcement to chaperone this young boy home from the hospital. During Christmas time, Mike enjoyed riding around in the fire truck delivering presents to children in need. The MBMCF was created in honor of Mike’s giving nature and to continue helping children and their families in need. Please support us in our goal to make Mike’s dream a reality.
